A Blinq NFC Business Card is a smart, reusable card embedded with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. With a single tap against a smartphone, it instantly shares your digital contact details, social profiles, website links, payment links and more. No app download is required by the person receiving your information. It works directly through their phone's browser on any device type, iOS or Android.

Simply tap your NFC Business Card against the back of someone's smartphone, iOS or Android. Alternatively, you can also scan the QR code on the back of the card. A notification will appear on their screen with a link to your Blinq profile. They can then view all your details, save your contact information directly to their phone, and connect with you on social media. There is nothing to download or install on their end.

No. The recipient does not need the Blinq app or any other app. When you tap your NFC card to their phone, your Blinq profile opens directly in their mobile browser. It is completely seamless for both parties.

Yes, both. Blinq NFC Business Cards work with iPhone 11 and all newer models, which have the required NFC chip built in. The NFC antenna is located on the back of the phone near the camera, so hold your Blinq card there for a moment and the notification will appear. They are also compatible with virtually all Android phones that support NFC (the vast majority of modern Android devices that support Google Pay); tap the card against the center back of the phone. For older iPhone models (iPhone XS and below) or phones without NFC enabled, the card also features a QR code that can be scanned using the standard camera app.

In most cases, yes. NFC signals can pass through standard phone cases without issues. However, very thick rugged cases or cases with built-in metal plates (often used for magnetic car mounts) can interfere with the NFC signal. If tapping does not work through a case, simply use the QR code as a backup, or ask the recipient to briefly remove their case.

Yes. When someone views your Blinq profile, they can tap a button to download your contact information as a vCard directly into their phone's contact list. This includes your name, phone number, email, company, job title, and any other details you have added.
