Hi, I'm Ekei Otto (she/they), founder of 🌻GrandMoma's Hands Birth Services & Education🌻
I believe every family deserves compassionate, respectful, and informed care throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As a Full Spectrum Doula, Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor, and Student Midwife, I'm passionate about helping families feel empowered, supported, and deeply connected to themselves and their communities.
Through my partnership with
🌸Sia's Wellness Place Center🌸
I host Yoga Mama Sundays perinatal yoga, Cooking for Connection nutrition and cooking classes, Medi-Cal postpartum doula services, and community education that nurtures the whole family.
I'm currently beginning my midwifery education at the Commonsense Childbirth School of Midwifery, working toward becoming a California Licensed Midwife. My long-term vision is to expand access to community-based maternity care by establishing birth centers, training future birth workers, and helping create a future where every family can experience safe, culturally responsive, and empowering care close to home.
At GrandMoma's Hands, we believe birth is more than a medical event, it's a transformative chapter that deserves to be met with knowledge, dignity, and love. Because -
