PhD Candidate and Registered Nurse with 15 years of experience in stroke care, spanning direct advanced clinical nursing practice, research and health policy in the UK and Canada. My future program of research focuses on reducing health inequities in stroke care and improving ourcomes for people with lived and living experience of a stroke. I'm particularly interested in the influence of social, economic and environmental disadvantages and social determinants of health on stroke outcomes, survivorship and care among at-risk and under-studied populations.
